What sets this spot apart is its elevated location, which provides a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the city’s stunning skyline. Diners can expect an unparalleled culinary journey, featuring only the finest ingredients, flown in directly from Japan.

Louis Vuitton plates, cup and coasters

As previously mentioned, this is a Louis Vuitton-themed omakase restaurant. Naturally, the food is served on Louis Vuitton plates, cups, and coasters.

Louis Vuitton box and trunk

Caviar and truffles are also stored in Louis Vuitton boxes and trunks.

Louis Vuitton trunk with sake

Feel free to order some sake if you'd like. Once again, it’s presented in a Louis Vuitton trunk for an added touch of elegance.

Christmas tree with Louis Vuitton boxes

Since our visit was during Christmas, a festive tree was decorated with Louis Vuitton boxes as part of the display.

Takashi Murakami x Doraemon visual

We were pleasantly surprised to see the limited edition Takashi Murakami x Doraemon collaboration artwork on display here.

Our Omakase Experience
Our meal was prepared by Chef Takahiro Kikuchi from Miyazaki, and we opted for the Sora Course. Let's find out about our omakase experience!

Yellowtail Delight.

Yellowtail Delight.
The first dish was yellowtail paired with yuzu mustard. I loved the texture; the tangy yuzu enhanced the fish's freshness.

Chef's Choice of Appetiser.

Chef's Choice of Appetiser.
For the appetizer, the chef served amaebi paired with saba gut. Amaebi is one of my favourite types of shrimp, and I always enjoy its natural sweetness. The saba gut was new to me, but the taste was surprisingly pleasant and not unusual at all.

Oyster with Ponzu Jelly.

Oyster with Ponzu Jelly.
The original dish was supposed to be a saba burger, but the chef replaced it with an oyster instead. We didn’t mind the change. The ponzu jelly enhanced the flavour of the fresh oyster beautifully.

Tuna with soy sauce

Three Kinds of Premium Sushi - Tuna.
The first sushi was tuna with soy sauce. I can’t even remember the last time I had raw tuna haha! The tuna was incredibly juicy and flavourful.

Kinmedai.
The second sushi was kinmedaiIndulging in the rich, buttery goodness of Kinmedai sushi. A melt-in-your-mouth experience like no other.

Kasugo.

Kasugo.
Kasugo, also known as baby snapper, was served with yuzu pepper. Personally, I’m not a fan of raw fish served with the skin, but the texture was decent.

Toro Wrap.

Toro Wrap.
Toro wrapped in inari was next. While I’m not usually a fan of inari, I found this dish intriguing as it was my first time trying a wrap made with it. That said, I absolutely loved the texture of the tuna!

Shimaji.

Shimaji.
Shimaji sushi – simple, fresh, and packed with flavour. A perfect balance of tenderness and umami.

Shanghai Somen.
Shanghai Somen.
Shanghai somen served with winter black truffle from Italy. At that moment, I couldn't help but wonder why they served Shanghai somen instead of Tokyo ramen, but I didn't dare to ask, hahaha. The noodles had a soft texture, and I really enjoyed the aroma of the black truffle.

Amadai Soup.

Amadai Soup.
The next dish was amadai seaweed soup, made with tilefish. The chef first fried the skin before boiling it into a flavorful and unique soup.

Opulence Bowl.
Opulence Bowl.
Here comes my favourite uni! The bafun uni from Hokkaido is served with tuna and caviar. I absolutely loved this dish, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to satisfy my appetite, haha!

Sweet Ending.

Sweet Ending.
For dessert, we had sea salt ice cream, egg pudding, and melon. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The sea salt ice cream was too frozen and left an unpleasant taste on my tongue. The egg pudding was fine, but the melon wasn’t sweet at all. I was hoping for a sweeter ending, haha!

Menu and Price Range
  • Lunch Menu : RM450++
  • Sora Course : RM788++
  • Omakase Menu : RM1,088++

Verdict

Overall, I would rate the omakase experience 7/10. The Louis Vuitton plating, ambience, and service were the highlights. The food was decent, but given my extensive omakase experiences, I felt the price wasn’t justified. They claimed to serve premium sushi, but it was similar to what I’ve had at other omakase places. I’ve enjoyed meals at half the price with double the food. So, if you ask me if I’d return, I’d say not anytime soon—unless I want to impress my guests with the Louis Vuitton presentation haha!
