Having access to the water filling station was incredibly convenient, especially in the hot weather. I frequently refilled my water bottle and added some ice cubes to keep myself refreshed throughout the day.
For breakfast, early in the morning, the staff would deliver it right to our door. As we opened the door, we were delighted to find a cup of tea, a box of stuffed egg rolls (one per person), and a box of fried dumplings (one per person).
Experiencing this kind of breakfast style in a homestay was a first for me, and I found it quite intriguing. The best part is that the breakfast menu changes daily, adding a delightful element of surprise to start each day.

Don't miss the chance to try the popular Taiwan braised pork rice (山河鲁肉饭), conveniently located nearby the homestay! We opted for a takeaway and enjoyed it in the comfort of the homestay lobby, as there were many customers queuing at the stall. The dish was absolutely delicious and a must-try culinary delight.
Mr. Mantter is situated in the central district of Taichung City, making it one of the nearest hostels to Taichung Railway Station. Its proximity to the railway station, approximately 950 meters away along Taiwan Boulevard, makes it incredibly convenient for tourists to arrive by train or bus.
