Shini in Dubai : Day 4 | Jumeirah Beach | Palazzo Versace Dubai | Ain Dubai

SHINI IN DUBAI : DAY 4 | JUMEIRAH BEACH | PALAZZO VERSACE DUBAI | AIN DUBAI
Marhaba everyone! My Dubai travelogues have finally come to end as this is the last post. In case you missed the previous itineraries, feel free to check them out at the end of this post. Today's post is about the popular Jumeirah Beach, my favourite Palazzo Versace Dubai and Ain Dubai. Enjoying reading ladies and gentlemen.

Jumeirah Beach

Jumeira Beach is a white sand beach that is located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on the coast of the Persian Gulf.

Access to the beach is free, but you'll have to fork over a few dirhams to access the park.

With its charming surroundings, is unexceptionable one of the most popular as well as commonly visited tourist spots in Dubai. Once a major fishing and pearl farming centre, Jumeirah over the years has evolved into one of the city's principal residential areas, particularly among elite families and western expatriates. Being the site of the former Chicago Beach (Jumeirah Beach now), the beachfront area was previously known as Chicago beach till the late 1900s when it was demolished and the construction of Burj Al Arab began. Jumeirah is now administratively categorised into three neighbourhoods : Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2 and Jumeirah 3. Apart from these, here are some of the key aspects that attract both locals and tourists to Jumeirah Beach.

Brunch & Cake

Brunch & Cake is so much more than an all-day dining restaurant, it is an experience. The concept was born in the homely heart of Spain, Barcelona. The brand was founded as Cup & Cake in 2010 as a coffee and cake shop, but the immediate success and demand created a need for a larger offering, creating Brunch & Cake in 2012. Manex, the founder, dedicated his life to creating inviting environments and wholesome foods using quality ingredients, authentic recipes, and organic produce, all served in generous portions with a promise of "Grandma's Goodness".

CEO and Founders, Amjad and  Jamal fell in love with the concept during their European tour and created the first flagship store outside of Barcelona in 2019. Brunch & Cake opened 4 restaurants across the UAE, boasting the infamous reputation it held in Barcelona. The brand is known for hosting in iconic locations with beautiful interiors, wholesome dishes, generous portions and a place which provides one-of-a-kind experiences.

The reason that I added this cafe to my list is that I love the vibes. It gave me Bali vibes, especially from the outside you already started falling in love with this place.

Love love loves the aesthetic of this cafe. Everything in this cafe including the interior, colour theme and deco is so beautiful! Never regret coming here and definitely worth the visit.

This view is my favourite among all! How I wish I own a cafe that looks like this! The tall cactus is so beautiful. Once I spotted this I told my friend it is so pretty right? My friend was like ya ya ya~ Hahaha. She must be thinking I'm so annoying.

Since we just took our breakfast at the hotel, so we just ordered some desserts and drinks. We tried the lemon meringue tart and berries tart. Both of them taste delicious! I personally prefer the lemon meringue tart because I like the sourness.

For the beverages, we ordered strawberry and passion fruit juice.

This is another corner which is so aesthetic. I love the white shark head on the wall because it is cute. And the little arch white door at the corner, that's the staff room.

Palazzo Versace Dubai

Reminiscent of a 16th-century Italian Palace, Palazzo Versace Dubai is a neoclassical masterpiece with subtle traces of Arabian architecture. Featuring a striking entrance, high ceilings, landscaped gardens, and a range of well-crafted Italian furnishings, the hotel is truly symbolic of the Versace lifestyle.

Located in Jaddaf Waterfront, less than 15 minutes away from Dubai International Airport and 8 minutes away from Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, Palazzo Versace Dubai is conveniently located along the shores of the iconic Medusa and Greek decor. A walk through the 5-star hotel's public spaces reveals several exclusive designs and fabrics from Versace, while the lagoon pools and reflection ponds complement the serenity of the lush gardens that surround the hotel - a true luxury retreat for leisure travellers.

Every single piece of furniture and fabric that adorns the hotel's 215 hotel rooms and suites, and 169 residences, is designed and tailor-made by Versace exclusively for the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai.

Therefore, you can see there are so many Versace logos everywhere. Don't be surprised.

Each of the hotel's 9 restaurants and bars is designed to have an alfresco terrace to reflect the heritage of Palazzos, where the internal court was the informal space to meet, dine and enjoy the weather. The three outdoor pools are decorated with mosaic tiles and surrounded by palm trees and flowers.

The beautifully landscaped gardens and unobstructed views of the Dubai Creek and skyline, make this luxury hotel an ideal venue for weddings and social events in Dubai.

La Piscina

Nestled amidst the majestic palm trees surrounding Palazzo Versace Dubai's East pool, La Piscina is a unique poolside experience that is set to be featured on every Instagrammer's "must-do in Dubai" bucket list.

Offering waterfront views, lounge music and a menu packed with a healthy twist on popular poolside favourites, including chilled soups, a variety of sushi and tempting Mediterranean platters, La Piscina plays host to those looking for some relaxed fun in the sun. After taking a lap around the pool, quench your thirst with La Piscina's signature cocktails "Spice Me Up", "Drama" and "Volcano" as your drift into an afternoon entertainment with a resident DJ and his hottest sundowner tunes.

This place is just awesome! We are enjoying the view, music, some cocktails and hand-cut fries here. Everything is so chill here so we stayed here for about 2 hours before we go for an afternoon tea.

I will definitely revisit this place. Probably next time bring my parents along and chill here. Since my parents love Versace so much, I guess I can just book a suite here.

Mosaico

Mosaico restaurant resides in an opulent setting at the very heart of the hotel and is a personal reflection of Gianni Versace's ornate compositions. The 5-star hotel's lobby lounge offers panoramic views of the Dubai Creek and the main pool, with its high floor-to-ceiling windows and elegant interiors. The impressive all-day menu includes plenty of options for lunch, dinner and high tea.

Within moments of stepping into Palazzo Versace Dubai, you will be greeted by the opulent Mosaico lounge, situated at the heart of the lobby. It is here that you can experience the quintessential High Tea featuring an extensive selection of the finest teas and tempting treats.

Everything from head to toe is about Versace. Whenever I shop in the boutique, my eyes are always on the plates and cups. There are so pretty and classic.

And here comes our high tea stand! A red wooden stand with lots of savoury and sweets.

It is for 2 person sharing. If you're more than 2 person, feel free to order more.

I personally prefer their savoury than the sweets. All their sandwiches are taste fine but those desserts are really sweet for us.

We feel so guilty to have many dessert left over because we simply can't finished them all. Both of us have sweet tooth but these pastries are way too sweet.

Bliss Lounge

Jewel of the Jumeirah Beach, Bliss Lounge is the perfect place to unwind while sipping cocktails or fresh juices. With the vibrant JBR in your back and the infinite sea towards you, this spot still continues on being a success year after year. To this contributes our legendary Sunsets, where you can dance barefoot on the sand while the Moon illuminates the makeshift dance floor. Whether it is because of the top DJs we invite, whether it is of the unique atmosphere of the relaxed and cosmopolitan party, the truth is that the Bliss Lounge continues to revolutionize, from the morning sun to the night craziness, one of the most famous beaches of Dubai.

Dinner of the night :
Sparkling wine and champagne

Salmon & Avocado Roll
Fresh salmon, avocado Japanese mayonnaise, filled with fish roe (AED85)

Spicy Edamame
Vegetarian oyster sauce, fried garlic, black pepper, and togarashi spices (AED40)

We are not that hungry actually, so we just order some drinks and appetizers. Our stomach still filled with the afternoon tea lol.

After finished our dinner, we take the seat at the outdoor (just now we were in indoor) and enjoy the sea view.

There are so many people on that night so the lounge was full house. We are luckily that we got a table before that.

There is a DJ spinning right behind us. I guess the DJ is same age as me because all the songs she playing was my era hahaha. My friend was younger than me and she don't know what songs was that.

Enjoying the music and sea breeze are the best combination when you're on vacation. Just chill.

It was Hari Raya on that night so there are a big firework happened in front of us. Everyone on the beach is eyeing on those firework because they are spectacular (by the way, did you spot the heart shape from the photo?)

To be honest, I was quite surprised that the raya celebration in Dubai is not that happening compare to Malaysia. I was been told that apparently they focus more on the Haji celebration.

Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye)

The World's Tallest Observation Wheel Joins Dubai's Skyline.

Ain Dubai is the latest landmark to join Dubai's long list of world record-breaking attractions. Located on Bluewaters Island, the giant observation wheel stands at a staggering height of 250m making it the highest and largest of its kind in the world.

The monument is an amazing feat of construction, with each leg of the wheel standing 126m high - long enough to fit 15 London buses - while the weight of the assembled hub and spindle is equivalent t four A380 aircraft.

Accessible from the island, Ain Dubai (which means Dubai Eye in Arabic) is surrounded by unforgettable social and celebratory experiences, making it a must-visit attraction for all.

Element Al Jaddaf by Marriott Bonvoy
For the last night, we stayed in Element Al Jaddaf Hotel by Marriot Bonvoy. The reason I've booked this hotel is because it was nearby the airport (probably around 3km like that) and we have go to the airport very early on the next day as our flight time is in the morning. Therefore, I was thinking staying in a hotel nearby is more convenience.

The hotel's casual and vibrant atmosphere together with its ergonomic design, quiet nooks, sun-filled spaces and family amenities evoke the feeling of home. Each spacious room at Element Al Jaddaf features the signature Heavenly® bed, a spa-inspired bathroom, oversized closets and a fully-equipped kitchen. For busy mornings, tuck into their complimentary healthy Rise® breakfast or select snacks from the lobby cafe before you explore the city using their shuttle services to the Dubai Mall, Festival City Mall, La Mer Beach and Al Jaddaf Metro station. Alternatively, work from the comfort of your room or the hotel's modern workstation, or opt to conduct your business in one of the four meeting rooms. Recharge and refresh at the fitness centre open 24 hours a day and outdoor swimming pool deck or adventure the outdoors on two wheels from the hotel's Bikes to Borrow facility and EV Charging Station.

The staff is super friendly. We told them we have to catch the early flight the next day so we have to skip the breakfast even it's included in the booking. The staff saying they can help us to take away the breakfast so we can enjoy in the airport. We were shocked and keep saying it's okay because the time is too early and we don't have any appetite to eat at that moment. Eventually, he gave up convincing me hahaha.
