"No Makeup" Makeup Challenge with KATE

"NO MAKEUP" MAKEUP CHALLENGE WITH KATE

Lately, I done a "No Makeup" Makeup Challenge with KATE. So, what is a "no makeup" makeup anyway? It's like I'm wearing makeup but I looks like I'm not. I always prefer light makeup rather than heavy makeup because I feel that my face doesn't suitable for heavy makeup at all. Thus, let's see how it works with KATE's products!

ABOUT KATE
ABOUT KATE

So, some brief info about KATE (Although I guess most of you already knew about this brand) KATE was born in 1997 and since its debut it has embodied the sharp & bold makeup style of Tokyo, one of the global fashion and beauty capitals, where innovative and glamorous styles are created day by day. The brand is strengthening its presence on the global stage from 2014, etched with the name of its birthplace, Tokyo.

I still remember KATE was one of my favourite cosmetic brand because of the previous ambassador Mika Nakashima. She acted as the main character in a movie called "NANA" (which is my all time favourite anime).

KATE POWDERY SKIN MAKER
KATE POWDERY SKIN MAKER
The evolutionary foundation by KATE. The liquid powederizes on your skin."Matte Maximizer"
I actually tried it last time so this is my second bottle. The Kate Powdery Skin Maker is a liquid at first, adhering to skin for good coverage and creating an even veil. Then, excess oil evaporates and the foundation turns into powder for a long-lasting matte finish.

It able to covers all defects in one stroke without any cakiness. Basically it is high coverage and smooth formula to creates natural looking.
  • Liquid foundation first fully covers
  • Liquid foundation powderizes while smoothly spreads on the skin
  • It fits well with the skin and creates matte finish with oil-free feeling

Tips for base makeup by skin concern
  • For people concerned about poor or dull complexion, or redness
  • For people concerned about open pores
  • For people concerned about dark circles, brown spots, acne, and acne scars (perfect for me)

KATE LASTING EYEBROW W N (FL)
KATE LASTING EYEBROW W N (FL)
Lasting and Natural
A double-ended eyebrow pencil and powder easily creates contoured eyebrows. It's a combination of drawing and blending. It create three-dimensional eyebrows with one product. There are few kinds of eyebrow pencil and Kate Lasting Eyebrow W FL is a flat pencil type. I always prefer flat pencil type because it's strong enough (thin type is easily to be broken).

KATE LASTING EYEBROW W N (FL)

How to use
First, you use the flat pencil side to draw the outline. A flat pencil core for thin or thick lines.

How to use
Next, use the soft brush side to fill up the "content". A powder tip for natural blending.

This is how I draw my eyebrow. You can use your own way and choose the color that close to your hair colour. Since I always dye my hair, so the colour that I chose was a little bit of brown.

Shini's Thoughts
I love the eyebrow pencil because it has duo side for me to choose. It is easy to apply and my eyebrow looks so natural. Also, I love the colour that I had chosen.

Color Variations
  • BR-1 Light Brown
  • BR-3 Natural Brown (the one that I had chosen)
