Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro is in Malaysia! I just talk about him few days ago when I'm chatting with my boyfie and I can't believe after 2 days I received an invitation to meet him in person! I was the luckiest person in this world! I love watching his show - Cake Boss since few years back and I promised myself, one day, I will definitely meet him in person and try his pastry. Thank god my dream come true now. All thanks to TLC.
TLC's Cake Boss was recently in town, and brought together more than 2,000 people at the consumer event held at Sunway Pyramid on Tuesday, 1 November 2016. The Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro was here to promote Season 8 of Cake Boss on TLC (Astro Channel 707) which will premiere on Wednesday, 9 November 2016 at 9pm.
Buddy Valastro and his cake crew including his four sisters, two brothers-in-law, cousins and the family matriarch, Momma, are back and whipping up amazing cake creations. Over the years, the team has successfully made Carlo’s Bakery a household name and as the business has grown, so have their responsibilities. But at the end of the day, Buddy wants to be true to his roots - cake and family. Whatever the challenge, the Valastro’s prove that no matter how sticky the situation… the family that bakes together stays together!
For Buddy Valastro, mixing eggs, sugar, butter and flour means a lot more than “making a cake.” As a fourth generation baker, it’s a constant source of pleasure, pride and creativity. Creating amazing cakes connects Buddy with the memory of his father Buddy Sr. and his extended Italian family history. When I reached Sunway Pyramid, I already saw tons of fans are waiting for Cake Boss. I'm quite surprise for the crowd because whenever I talk about Cake Boss, my friends have no idea who he is. I'm lucky I'm not the only fans here. Luckily I have the invitation so I can personally meet and greet him without queueing up. I feel so blessed when I'm able to hug him and stand beside him for photo session. Although we just have a quick chat, but I can feel he is a loveable person.

During his time here, Buddy took the opportunity to meet a few children from the Make A Wish Foundation. He met Fathul (12) who is diagnosed with Mixed Phenotype Leukaemia and Najihah (17) who has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Both children were thrilled to meet the Boss himself and took tons of photos during the private meet-and-greet session.

TLC's Cake Boss brings 2000 people in Sunway Pyramid! A lot of fans is here for Buddy and we heard got few fans keep shouting "I love you Buddy!" Well, I'm one of them. LOL.

It is truly amazing to meet Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro in person. Hopefully one day I can visit him again at Carlo's Bakery in Las Vegas and try the pastries that he made. Don't forger to watch Cake Boss Season 8 at TLC!
