#SHINIxFOOD | Ishin Japanese Dining

Konbawa  Who doesn't love Japanese foods right? Yes! Today I'm gonna talk about a Japanese cuisine called Ishin Japanese Dining that me and boyfie went to during our half-year anniversary. It's not newly open. In fact, it was already opened in 2009. We always passed by that area and one day, when boyfie was asking me any idea to go for our anniversary date. I was thinking maybe we should visit this Japanese cuisine. Thus, there we go.

#SHINIOOTD | Ishin Japanese Dining
Outfits of that day would be the beautiful green stripe dress which was bought by my lovely mom. White chain bag from Charles & Keith. Last but not least, the beautiful white rose heels from ChristyNg. (Sorry for the yellowish skin tone because of the camera filter)

Ishin Japanese Dining
The days before we pay a visit, we already make a reservation via their official website. It was just a few simple steps with a user-friendly site. Once we step in, there are full house! Fortunately, we already made a reservation or else I guess we might need to wait if we plan to walk in.

For your info, ISHIN is a Japanese restaurant serving genuine Japanese and Kaiseki-style cuisines that are cooked to order. They prepare their meals freshly using ingredients imported from Japan's famous Tsukiji market with the finest ingredients of the season.

Order via iPad | Ishin Japanese Dining
After the waitress lead us to our seats, she passed us an iPad for ordering. Thus, you can take your time ordering and zoom in on the image if you can't see those words clearly(for the elderly).

Appetizer| Ishin Japanese Dining
We didn't order this. This Fried Shrimp Salad was served as an appetizer for us. It tastes quite fresh and crispy.

Potato Salad | Ishin Japanese Dining
We ordered a potato salad as an appetizer. It tastes good and cold. Love how they put so much Shichimi as topping.

Sashimi Zen | Ishin Japanese Dining
Boyfie ordered a Sashimi dinner set (RM66). The set consists of sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, miso soup, fruits and rice.

The sashimi ice bowl looks nice and unique. The purpose of it is to make the sashimi at a low temperature so that when you're eating it, it will give you a cool sensation.

Sushi Tempura Zen | Ishin Japanese Dining
For me, I ordered a Sushi and Mix Tempura set (RM61). If you don't plan to eat much rice like me, then I would recommend this to you. It consists of a sushi set, tempura, chawanmushi, miso soup and fresh fruits.

I can tell you that the sushi is delicious and fresh, especially for the ebi(prawn) and salmon. The sweetness of seafood.

The Tempura set is not bad as well. One thing I feel quite a pity would be the fruits. It might be a little bit frozen so when I found it hard to chew. For person who wears braces like me might find it hard to chew the fruits.

Scallop Cheese Yaki | Ishin Japanese Dining

We also ordered Scallop Cheese Yaki (RM11). In the menu, it was actually captured with 1 scallop but we have no idea why it has become 2 when it was served. Strongly recommend this if you are a scallop lover like I am. The scallop size is huge and I like the fact that they put a lot of cheese as topping.

Ishin is quite expensive, but judging the authenticity should be worth it.
