Hada Labo Beauty Talk x Beauty Guru @Liu Yen x Review ❤

Hola❤  Sorry for the late post sweeties❤ I knew some beloved readers inbox me last time to ask me to blog about this event as soon as possible. But because I'm always busy during Chinese New Year every year, so till only I able to blogged about it.

First of all, thank you @Hada Labo for the invitation and opportunity for letting me to meet the Taiwan Beauty Guru - @LiuYen and I learnt lots of beauty tips in the beauty talk, will let you guys knew what's I had learn at the bottom part of the post. =)

In case some of you not really familiar with the beauty guru, so here are her brief profile :

Liu Yen is one of the most well-known beauty experts in Taiwan. Since her foray into the beauty industry as a skincare expert more than 10 years ago, the former beauty editor of an international Chinese language magazine has juggled many responsibilities, such as working with numerous high-profile beauty experts, notably Niu Er, and travelling around the world to share her knowledge. To date, she has travelled to countries like France, Australia, Japan, Malaysia and Korea to discover the beauty secrets each place has to offer.

#12  Then, beauty guru - Liu Yen suddenly show up! She's super cute and friendly!

The very first question she asked us was "What's your daily skin care basic steps?"  The first things pop up in mind was Cleanser > Toner > Moisturizer > Sunblock. Especially sunblock is a MUST for me! Because I'm having uneven skin tone so I need to apply sunblock or else the problem will be worst. How about you guys? Can you guess the answer? 

The final answer that she told us was Cleanse > Hydration > Sunblock. So do you guys guess it correctly? =)

#13  Oh ya! Totally forgot to introduce you guys the categories or Hada Labo. When I think about Hada Labo, the first thing comes to my mind would be their lotion! As most of you knew, their lotion are one of their famous products. =)

[From Left to Right] : 

• Super Hyaluronic Moisturizing Lotion(to deeply moisturize skin and help preserve the skin’s optimum moisture balance) 
• Mild Peeling Lotion(tighten up pores to prevent clogged pores and breakouts, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and improves skin elasticity and firmness)
• Arbutin Whitening Lotion(helps skin recover from accumulated sun damage while reducing the appearance of dark spots to give clearer and fairer skin)
• Lifting + Firming Lotion(alcohol-free toner refreshes and tones skin texture with Retinol Vitamin A to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, collagen to improve skin’s elasticity for firmer and more lift in your skin)  
• es Lotion (instantly replenishes and locks-in skin’s natural moisture. It’s great for dry and dehydrated skin)

#14  We also did an experiment with the Hada Labo's Moisturizer and Lotion as well.

There are 2 pieces of face cleansing sponge on the table and she want us to pour lotion on it and blend them with our finger. After that, we repeat the steps again but this time we used moisturizer. As you guys can see regarding to the picture, the sponge with lotion are easily to absorb the moisturizer while on the other hands, the sponge without the lotion took longer time to absorb the moisturizer. In conclusion, we must apply lotion before moisturizer.  =D 

#15  Liu Yen guru also asked some blogger about their daily skin care sequence so she will knew our mistake and also teach us the right ways.

#16  They also invite a model and teach us those methods of how to apply the lotion and moisturizer as well. I will elaborate more in the "Beauty Tips" part. *wink*

#17  The lotion which holding by guru was the Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion. It seem nice to use and I actually tried it during the beauty talk it was really GOOD! I purposely went to Watson and Sasa after that just to purchase this but unfortunately I can't find it. =( Thank god after few days, the Hada Labo team emailed and informed me that they will send one for us to review! Thank you Hada Labo❤❤

Back to the topic, this Hada Labo Mild Peeling Lotion has a unique formulation that does not only sloughs away dull skin and impurities but it also stimulates cell renewal. It delicately tighten up pores to prevent clogged pores and breakouts, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and improves skin elasticity and firmness. Besides that, it also has moisturising properties that deeply hydrates the skin, providing a natural radiant and beautiful matte skin.

#18  Guru told us the amount of the lotion should be the old version 50 cent. If too less our skin won't be absorb much of the lotion.

#19  She also showed us how to apply the lotion. It's just gently dab on our face.

#20  After she demonstrated us how to apply the lotion and moisturizer, she allow us to have a close up and touch the model's face. Since guru just apply her left face, so you guys can see the wrinkles on her left part was reduced compare to the right part.

#21  Of course, Liu Yen guru has some prizes for us too. We having a Q&A game sessions and the prize would be her latest beauty tips book! 

#22  They divide as 2 team, the question of first team would be "If want to apply this 3 types of serum with same texture in once, what's the sequence?" The answer would be Anti-Aging > Whitening > Hydration!!  Do you get it accurate this time too? ;)

For another team, Liu Yen guru choose 4 products and asked them about the sequence as well. The final answer was Lotion > Essence > Moisturizer >Sunblock.

As I already mentioned earlier, I will elaborate more about the beauty tips that I learnt in the beauty talk.

So girls~ Let's learn all of this and become beauty doll❤

❥ Basic Steps for daily skin care : Cleanse > Hydration > Sunblock. For example, Cleanser > Essence/Lotion > Moisturizer > Sunblock. ❥ Lotion apply methods : Pour the appropriate amount(old version 50 cent) of lotion on your palm, compress using both palm in the "praying hand posture" and apply on your face by dabbing number of times depending on your age. The number of times must be at least double your age. Take my age for example, [22(my age) x 2 = 44 times] Therefore, I need to dab my face at least 44 times. But according to Liu Yen guru, she mentioned we should x3 for better result which means I need to dab my face for 66 times . ❥ Moisturizer apply methods : Pour the same amount(old version 50 cent) of moisturizer on your palm, compress using both palm in the "praying hand posture" and apply on your face gently. But this time, don't dab your face, just gently press on your face. ❥  Must remove your make-up before cleansing, normal cleanser won't help you to remove them. ❥  Remove your eyes and lips make-up first, then only remove the make-up on your face. ❥  Must apply lotion before moisturizer. ❥  Must apply sunblock because it can prevent your skin to become darker and lighten up your dark spot. ❥  Day care should be moisturizing while night care should be whitenning. Don't conversely or else your skin will turn darker. ❥  If your age is above 22, then you should start apply anti-aging products. ❥  If you apply any products on your face and it absorb quickly, it's a good things because which means your skin condition is good. ❥  Must apply mask every week. ❥  Last but not least, don't be lazy or else your skin won't be improve. =)

#3-in-1 Intense Hydration Perfect Gel (Essence + Sleeping Mask + Moisturizer) 

As I mentioned earlier, my heart was itchy and want to try it immediately when Liu Yen guru demonstrated us about the perfect gel. Now, finally I have the opportunity to give it try! This gel is special because it actually able to become essence / sleeping mask / moisturizer. So convenient right? It have 3 functions so it's depends on you how to use it. Frankly, it really gave my face intense hydration! My face become *doint doint* and super moisture even on the next few days. If you are lazy to apply those type of mask which need to rinse off on the same day, maybe you can consider this.  =)

#Hada Labo Moisturizing Foaming Wash

This would be my very first time to try the cleanser with the bubble foam. Normally the cleanser that I used was liquid or cream foam, but this one when I press it, the bubble foam will just coming out. It's fun and comfortable when I'm washing my face. 

Descriptions : 

Preserve your skin's natural moisture as you wash. Instantly foaming and easy to massage, this wash rinses clean without drying out your skin. Use morning and night for a luxurious yet practical start to softer, more supple skin.

Directions :

Moisten face and hands with lukewarm water. Dispense 1 to 2 pumps of wash into hands. Gently massage onto face, using circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. Use twice a day or as needed.

#Hada Labo Air BB Cream (Natural Beige)

The BB cream have 2 shades available - Ivory Beige and Natrual Beige as well. Ivory Beige is deeper in tone so luckily what I received was Natural Beige because my skin is consider a bit fair. As you can see in the picture, my skin are totally flawless after I apply it. This prove that it have good coverage. In addition, it also won't like some of the BB cream which make you feel sticky or oily. It's fresh and clean when you apply it on your face.

As I already mentioned earlier, sunscreen for me is very important because I'm that kind of person who easily to get sunburn so that's why my skin getting dark with ease if I didn't apply any sunscreen. Same as other sunscreen, you need to shake it first before use. It do absorb quickly when I apply on my face, so remember to apply it evenly.
