Gaston Luga - Your Travel Companion

When we talk about travel, I think backpack is our essential travel companion. A wise choice of backpack can bring you convenient and a fashion piece. That's why I choose Gaston Luga. I love the fact that their backpack is big capacity, at the same time - fashionable.

If you're following me on Instagram (@shinilola) then you might saw the photo shown above. The bag that I'm holding in the photo is from Gaston Luga. They have several series of backpack such as Classic, Praper and Classy series. The one that I had choose is Classy Pink & Black ($209).

In case you don't know about this brand yet, Gaston Luga is from Stockholm - Sweden. Founder Carl Sundqvist believed a backpack is the optimal companion when discovering the world. Since he was a person keen of his style, he had put time and effort into finding something different from the regular school style.

Finally he found himself an elegant Louis Vuitton, to which he had several modifications made. Making it more personal, functional and unique. Inspired after the meeting, Carl decided a few months later to create his own backpack brand with classic elegant style and practical details.

About the design, Gaston Luga loved his elegantly custom-made piece. They understood the industry was lagging when it comes to what customers today want. Most products are designed with big fluffy shoulder pads, plastic materials and thin fabric, which brings thoughts back to the first day of school.

The vision was to make a line with Scandinavian minimalism and elegance to suit all different occasions. As time went on, leather parts, thick quality cotton, metal details and a mix of carefully selected colours were put together and become the foundation of the new brand named after its predecessor, Gaston Luga.

Adjustable design, you can tighten it after you put your stuff inside.

Thanks to Gaston Luga, now I got a fashionable backpack to match with my outfits. Most of my backpack comes with huge capacity but zero fashion style. Hence, it doesn't go well with my apparels and make me look ugly in the photo. I can't wait to show off my pinky backpack at my upcoming birthday trip. Stay tuned on my Instagram guys.
