#SHINIxFOOD | Superthai Restaurant

Sawadeeka!  Any reader love to eat Thai foods like I do? Yuppie! Me and boyfie are huge fans of Thai foods. Beside of Japanese foods, Thai foods are our second favourite. I'm glad to be invited by Superthai Restaurant to try on their delicious foods. Basically that night was a girl's night. we ordered this and that and can you imagine five of us actually finished all of them? Continue reading to find out how we think about their foods.

Superthai Restaurant is located at Damansara Utama (Uptown) which is same row with The Good Batch if you're familiar. Please noted that it is located on the second floor but not ground floor. I waze it and when I reach, I thought it on ground floor as it doesn't mentioned in the address. When you reach on the second floor, you can directly push to door to enter. For your info, the main door doesn't have transparent glass or something so staff inside can't really see you.

The interior is just simple and nice. I love the ambiance as the air-con is cold enough and it is cozy. It is suitable for couples, family, friends or even special occasion. If you decided to bring your own wine or champagne, if do so because you are allow to do that and Superthai doesn't extra charge for it.

Superthai Restaurant Menu
There are many delicious foods on the menu. All of us looking by it and keep thinking I want to try this and that. LOL. Superthai menu also comes with affordable lunch set. Lunch set comes with drink and Tom Yum, price range are only RM15 - RM18.

Cold Lemongrass drink | RM2
There are only 3 beverages in the house which are Lemongrass, Pandan and Thai Milk Tea. Actually I wish to try on the Thai milk tea because I like the taste but too bad I was visited at night time so I guess next time maybe. I really can't fall asleep if I consume milk tea at night time. At the end I ordered a cold lemongrass drink and it was quite good. Refresh your mind well.

Ta-da! Yes, we ordered all of these delicious foods from the menu. Some of them are introduced by the owner. He is really friendly and explained to us how the dish are made and what's are the ingredients inside.

Flame Grilled Pork Belly | RM25
First up would be the Flame Grilled Pork Belly. I'm not a fans of pork but this is tasting great! I have to admit I love the sauce a lot! The sauce is mixture of garlic and some lime juice I guess. I thought the pork belly would be have a lot of fat but luckily it is not. Crispy and juicy.

Luncheon Meat Fried Rice | RM16
Luncheon Meat! I love luncheon meat since I was a kid because I used to eat that almost everyweek. The fried rice taste fine and when mix with luncheon meat taste great because it can bring out the sweet smell of it.

Crispy Omelette | RM12
I always order this whenever I visit any Thai restaurant because their Crispy Omelette always taste super awesome! Crispy on the outside and soft inside. This would be one of my favourite dish of that night.

Stuffed Squid | RM28
First time to tried on the Stuffed Squid. I can't really chew the squid because I'm wearing braces but I tried on the stuffed pork it taste good. I have some mixture with the garlic and I love garlic a lot so I think it is nice. The sauce stimulate the appetite because it is lime chili, not spicy but taste great.

Soft Bone Chicken Knuckle | RM18
If you are going with your family, then you should order this dish for your kids and I'm pretty sure they will love it. The Soft Bone Chicken Knuckle is safe for the kids to chew. The sesame bring out the sweetness of the chicken.

Flame Grilled Pork Neck | RM27
Okay. This surprised me! When I head about Flame Grilled Pork Neck, I was like erm...I never try that before but seriously neck? When it was served, all the girls are asking is this really the pork neck dish? Because it doesn't look like one. And guess what guys~ This taste so good. The meat are juicy and tender. No wonder it is one of the signature dish here.

Red Tom Yam | RM8
How can we missed the Red Tom Yam when we are in a Thai restaurant right? In Superthai, they served the tom yam with single portion and I like that idea. I personaally think in this way, it's more hygiene and I can finish it all by my own. HAHA

Fried Kang Kung | RM12
Of course, after so many meat dishes, a vegetable dish is a must! We ordered the Fried Kang Kung and surprisingly the texture is quite creamy.

Red Ruby Jack Fruit | RM10
Last but not least, dessert of the day was Red Ruby Jack Fruit. I don't know they have dessert here because normally I didn't order a dessert when I'm having Thai foods unless the mango rice is consider a dessert then I guess I am. The jack fruit are smelling good but the taste are little bit too sweet for me. Perhaps they reduce the amount of coconut milk would be great. Loves
